Needed – Items for Corner Shower Laundry
The Corner Shower Laundry recently opened in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Detroit. St. Peter’s also hosts the Manna Soup Kitchen. The Corner Shower Laundry is a separate 501c3 organization. Both organizations serve the poor by providing a Gospel response to those in need.
The Corner Shower Laundry’s mission is to “give people a fresh start” by providing a warm, clean, safe place to wash/groom themselves and do laundry. Corner Shower Laundry has four private shower stalls, three sink stations, a lavatory, and washers and dryers.
They need the following toiletries in TRAVEL size only:
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Bar Soap
- Deodorant (Not anti-perspirant)
Also needed are:
- Men’s disposable razors
- Air fresheners
- Detergent “Free and Clear” – full size
Collection bins will be in the Gathering Area and Coatroom for your donations. Thank you for any items you can provide.
