Saturday, October 28 after the 5:30pm Mass

Are you ready to do some “Post Graduate” work on how to approach understanding and helping low income populations? Thinking about poverty is tough, but our community is up for the task. Join the Justice and Peace Ministry on Saturday, October 28, as we explore the many facets of poverty. Based on the book, Bridges Out of Poverty, by educator, Ruby K. Payne, we will be working with presenter Mary Gladstone-Highland to view poverty through three lenses – individual, institutional, and community. Come after 5:30 pm mass to enjoy dinner and fellowship, and join this important conversation. If you have young children in need of child care (and dinner) please let us know by October 18 so we can arrange for their care while you’re immersed in this dynamic learning experience. All are welcome!
